Privacy Policy
What a moving quote requires, what stays on the shipment file, and how to have it removed.
1. The quote
A quote needs an origin, a destination, an approximate date and a way to reach you. For a household move we also ask what is being moved, because volume decides the vehicle and the crew. Nothing else is required to receive a price.
2. The survey and the inventory
When a move is booked, the surveyor’s notes and the packing inventory become part of the shipment file. The inventory lists items and their condition at loading; it is the document both sides use at delivery and in any claim. It stays with the file for as long as a claim could be made, and then for as long as transport and customs rules require.
3. Customs and carriers
International moves require the shipper’s identification and the documents the destination country asks for. Those documents go to the customs broker and the carrier handling that leg, and to no one else. Domestic moves require none of this.
4. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent the details of people who asked for a quote. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a price.
5. Your requests
You may ask for a copy of your shipment file, for a correction, or for the deletion of a quote that did not become a booking. Write to the address in the company information below and quote the shipment or quote reference.
