Terms of Service

The terms a move is quoted and carried under, stage by stage.

1. Quote

A quote is valid for the period stated on it and for the volume, access conditions and services it describes. A change in any of these — more items, a floor without a lift, storage added — changes the price, and we say so before the move date.

2. Booking

A booking is confirmed in writing and names the dates, the addresses, the services and the price. It may require a deposit; the amount and the conditions of its return are stated in the confirmation.

3. Packing and loading

Items packed by our crew are inventoried and their condition noted. Items the customer packs are carried as “packed by owner” and we cannot verify their condition or contents. Some items are not carried: fuels, live plants, perishables, and anything the law forbids to transport.

4. Transit

Transit times are estimates. International legs depend on vessel schedules, port handling and customs clearance, none of which we control. Storage in transit is charged as stated in the booking.

5. Delivery and claims

The inventory is checked at delivery and any damage is noted on it there and then. A claim not noted at delivery must be made in writing within the period stated in the booking. Liability follows the cover chosen when booking.

6. Using this site

The pages are for your information. Texts and images may not be reused for another transport business.
